所谓俗字，是区别于正字而言的一种通俗字体，与正字相辅相成。传统文字学作为经学的附庸，重正字，轻俗字，导致俗字研究资料匮乏，给俗字研究工作的开展带来了不利的影响。然而随着大批敦煌写卷文书的渐次公布，这种局面有了很大的改观。敦煌写卷和出土碑铭中的俗讹别字数量甚夥，为俗文字的研究提供了许多可资借鉴的资料。本书正是在这样的基础之上，以《汉语大字典》、《中华字海》为纲，对历代字典辞书中的疑难俗字进行了系统全面的考辨，包括字形楷定、注音、考释等方面，计3000余条。鉴于《中华字海》收载的疑难俗字较多，需要讨论的问题也多，故本书的部首设置和字形的排列顺序均以《中华字海》为准，《汉语大字典》字头归部及排列次序与《中华字海》不一致者，据后书作适当调整。每条下先引《汉语大字典》和《中华字海》的原文，并注明页码。如果同一条目《中华字海》的训释与《汉语大字典》基本相同，则不再引录《中华字海》的原文，而以参见“《字海》XX页”的形式提请读者参看，以省篇幅。凡是《汉语大字典》有问题而《中华字海》已经纠正的条目，本书一般不再收入；反之，如果《汉语大字典》不误或曾提出正确见解而《中华字海》仍沿用谬说者，本书则择要载入，酌加考辩。 Read more
